Kea Awa Straw Water Filter

 

The KEA AWA is a personal water filter straw to carry on all your adventures. It can be used to drink from rivers, lakes and other freshwater sources.

You can drink either directly from the straw or use the included extension pipe to place the straw into a container of collected water.

Please read these instruction carefully to ensure the proper use of the filter. The quality of the filtered water is not guaranteed if the straw is used outside of normal operating procedures outlined in this manual.

• Lifespan: At least 100 days of drinking water (300+ Litres depending on the water quality). When it's lifespan is reached, water will no longer flow freely.
• Shelf Life: 5 years since first use. Indefinite life if stored in original airtight packaging.
• Removes: Waterborne pathogens (99.99% of viruses, 99.9999% of bacteria, 99.9% of protozoan cysts), including Rotavirus, Hepatitis A, Norovirus, Giardiasis, Cryptosporidium, E. Coli, Cholera, Salmonella, Dysentery and more.
• Filters: Particulates, sediment, micro-plastics. Activated carbon adsorbs many chemicals, pesticides, herbicides, VOCs, flavours and odours. + Partially removes Heavy Metals (Lead, Nickel Tine, Iron, Chromium, Copper, Aluminium, Trivalent)
