Deejo Black 37g Knife with Blue Beech Wood Handle - Hector Dolphin

Deejo Black 37g Knife with Blue Beech Wood Handle - Hector Dolphin

This knife is part of an exclusive New Zealand collection, featuring the artwork of Hawkes Bay artist Sam Poots. Sam is an artist based in New Zealand and branding herself as ‘ART OF POOTS’. She specialises in a technique called pointillism or known as ‘stippling’. This is a style of drawing which involves using dots of ink or distinct colour to create illusion of form.

Originally used for furniture and the fabrication of wooden shoes, beech wood is appreciated for its robustness and its ability to permeate colours. Mass-dyed to refine your Deejo knife and endure over time, this fine plate, in nuances of red, reveals the natural vein of the wood in arabesques of ochre, evoking in turn a twilight warmth, the vibrant tints of a ripe fruit or an autumnal light.

Features

  • Ultra-light knife in Z40C13 stainless steel, black titanium coating.
  • Secure liner lock system decorated with fine laser engraving.
  • Belt clip.
  • Solid beech wood handle slab.
